My Moments

I’ve written about this one before, but it is speaking to me in a different way today.  The group Emerson Drive has a song called Moments.  The last two phrases of the chorus go like this: “Lookin' at me now you might not know it.  But I've had my moments.”

I’ve had my moments that were ass-kickers, and I’ve had my moments where my life changed completely.  What I have learned about My Moments is that it is not so much about the actual moment but all about what you do with the moment.  Whether you flounder in the ass kicking or flourish in the life changers, it is your decision.  It’s your moment so choose wisely.
Learn to live with your moments and embrace them.  One way or another, they are life changers.  Here is the final chorus: “Lookin' at me now you might not know it, Oh, lookin' at me now you might not know it…But I've had my moments...”  What are you gonna do with your Moments?
