Where do You Find It?
It’s so elusive for some. They look and look and seem to miss it. I find mine sometimes on top of an 800 lb
Harley, sometimes clapping hands with Tristen, sometimes just sitting in my
Bubba Chair listening to nothing, sometimes sitting on the deck at the beach
house, and other times sitting at Nora and David’s pool watching the critters,
drinking beer, and listening to music.
So what is it you’re asking? It’s
my peace.
How often do we hear people
talking about how they can’t wait for their vacation to get away from it all
and relax? Well, why do people wait? You can have little mini vacations every day
if ya like. For me, vacationing is a
state of mind. Lately, the mini
vacations have been at Nora and David’s pool.
We hang out, drink beer, laugh at the critters, sometimes get in the
pool, and sometimes chill out and do absolutely nothing. We find the best plan is absolutely no
plan. We don’t set a time. It just happens.
Vacations are great and needed
for recharging, but rather than waiting to take a couple a year, take a few
each week. Make a little me time for a
short playcation of the mind. You’ll be
glad you did.
Rod - On Permanent Playcation
Couldn't agree more Rodney. One of my favorites is sitting on the tailgate of a pickup truck, swinging my feet, sipping on something hot or something cold, or life in general...
