Placement
My personal belief is people are
placed in our lives at the right times even though the reason at that given
time is not always apparent. That could
be the time you need someone most, or maybe they need you at that instant. I think often about my friend Chris that
works at Reliant. I’ve written about him
before and still see him often. Chris is
in a wheel chair and works as a greeter at the door of the center. I recall the first time I met him. I said hi like I do to most all people and
kept walking. Something stopped me a few
steps past him. I could feel he had the
need for someone to listen. We ended up
talking for a while and have become good buddies since then. People have a place in our lives, and we have
a place in theirs. Sometimes it is a
quick lesson and other times a lifetime friendship. Placement has a purpose. It may not always be obvious at the time, but
there is a purpose.
