What Do I Do Now?
The funny never ceases at the ole
coffee shop. I roll down this morning
and see a semi blocking the entire length of the parking lot where everyone
parks. I did the quick well crap then turned down the next
aisle and parked at the end. As we were
sitting there chatting, I started
chuckling as I see a hybrid blow right around the semi and circle it like it
was making a statement. Then there home
the others barely squeaking between the semi and curb or hopping the curb just
to park up front. Just when I thought it
would over, another car whips around the back of the semi with an “I’ll show
you move” and pulls up parallel to the curb between the truck and the
building. Patrick and I were scratching
our head and laughing at all the fretting and smirks you would see on the faces
of those walking in the store after “fighting with the big truck.” Some were spending more time trying to jostle
for close parking than it would have took to park on the next aisle and walk
the additional 25 feet. We were both
thinking, “really, this is how you want to start your day by getting pissy at 6
am for a semi making a delivery to a store and you having to walk a few feet?”
You’re first few experiences when
you wake up can help set your intentions for the day. Don’t waste a day being miffed over things
that do not matter in the big picture. Thanks
to the bitchy people this morning for giving me something to laugh at and
setting my intention of having a “funny kinda day.”
