What Stinks?

Expiration Date

Wouldn’t it be nice if past hurts and emotional wounds had an expiration date like milk?  If you think about it, they are similar.  When milk sets past its date, it will start to sour, curdle, and stink to high heaven.  Past hurts and emotional wounds can do the same thing.  Holding on to the past hurts just stinks up the present.  They find their way into most everything we do.   They can derail current situations and prevent you for growing and experiencing new situations.  If you have some past issues or wounds that are past their expiration date, throw them out.  All they are doing by hanging around is stinking the joint up.  I recall a little quote I had published a few years back, “When your past controls your present.  What does that say about your future?”
