All the Stuff

No matter how much cool cash money you have, there is one thing you can’t buy: Happiness.  Cars wear out, jewelry and clothes go out of fashion, and people move in and out of our life.  Sure, you can get a little instant gratification from getting new things, but that wears off.  Happiness has nothing to do with stuff.  It has everything to do with what is on the inside.  Doing certain things and being around certain people aid in bringing joy to our lives, they do not make us happy.

Per Wikipedia - “Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being characterized by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy.”

See what I mean?  There is not one mention of a Ferrari, huge ranch, or millions of dollars in the definition of happiness.  We have sole responsibility for our own happiness.  Our happiness resides in us, and it is our responsibility to find it, develop it, and spread it.  Remember, “You attract to your life what you give your attention to.”
