Where Do You Start?

Everyone knows I am a firm believer in each of us having a unique story and the value of sharing that story with everyone.  Earlier this week, I had a discussion with my friend Chris out at Reliant Center.  He so wants to tell his story, but he said, “Every time I try to start writing, I get a flood of feelings and emotions where I just get frustrated and stop.” Try is the operative term there and the very thing I told Chris.  When we try to force our story, it just doesn’t work.  We have to listen to our heart and allow our story to happen.
Where do you start?  You start by listening rather than trying to force the issue.  We all have so much to offer and bring to this world if we would only listen.  Get quiet, turn off the phone, step off from the computer, and just listen.  You will be amazed at what comes to you when you are open to receive.  Where do you start?  You start by listening to your heart.
