That was Richard’s comment about the impromptu suite party we had at the Tim McGraw concert at RodeoHouston™. There were all sorts of dynamics going on in the suite. Pete had not seen Lynnel in probably close to 15 years. Richard had not seen Judi Brubaker in a very long time. Lynnel had never met Robin or Richard. Heck, there were two strangers with tickets to the suite and none of us knew them. It just all worked.
When Tim McGraw sang his
song, Live Like You Were Dying, everyone was singing along and smiling. That particular song strikes a chord with
most people I think. The song is about
doing the most and getting the most that you can out of life, because it can
all change in an instant. For me, the
song is a reminder that life is about choices.
I choose whom I spend time with, I choose what and whom I give my energy
to, and I choose to live a gratitude lifestyle of being thankful for
everything. Approach life with the
thought of right now being the best time ever and watch how much fun and
enjoyment you have in that very moment.
