There are all sorts of tests
in life: finals in college, patience with kids, stinko boss at the job, traffic
in Houston, or patience with a spouse or significant other. There are many examples, but to me, they all
come back to one common thing, the response.
In an academic setting, I know the answers or I guess. Either way, it’s my response. Traffic in Houston can drive you bat-shit
crazy, but it still comes back how I choose to respond. For relationships,
there are options: ask questions, guess or get pissed off.
Living life presents tests.
We sometimes have the answers, sometimes guess at what we think it should be
and then other times just blow up the situation all together. In all of the examples though, there is still
the common thing, the response. Yes, you
will be tested. It is not a matter of if
but when. Learn to recognize when you
are being tested and react accordingly.
