Better Than Before

I am all for living life to the fullest; however, there comes a time where we need to see what we can do to make it better.  It’s that concept of leaving the world a little better place because of you and your actions.  Too often, we minimize our actions or words and assume they do not matter or make a difference, when that is often not the case.

Take a minute to think about the times when you were down or in a tough spot and reached out to someone for some kind words or a hug.  It made all the difference in the world didn’t it?  Now, think of the same situation out in public.  You never know what is going on in someone’s life, but if you maintain a mindset of making a difference, you can do just that, make a difference.

Here is your action item for the day.  Set the intention right now that you will make someone’s day a little better than before.  That could be saying hi to the person cutting your meat at the deli or helping someone get something of the shelf at the store.  You have the ability.  Just use it.
