I Give Up

Three simple words that most assume means failure are I Give Up.  I beg to differ.  For me, I Give Up means understanding and accepting there are issues that I cannot fix or solve.  There was a time where I drove myself bat shit crazy trying to fix things or fix people.  Then I realized that attempting to fix everyone and everything was just a diversion from working on and fixing me.  In some instances, it was also being an enabler.  People would come to me to fix things rather than work it out on their own, as they knew I would do it.  It turned out to be an unhealthy behavior for both them and me.  That’s when I learned the positive side and power of the three words, “I Give Up.”

Give up every now and then.  It’s good for you.  Trust me, the others will figure it out on their own.
