Compromise

By nature, I am a very passive and low-key kinda guy. I respect everyone’s beliefs and positions and hope they respect mine; however, when it comes to my family, my friends, my beliefs, my dear friends in the military, and my patriotism, that is a completely different story.  I stand, take my cap off, and put my hand over my heart when the national anthem plays.  I shake the hands of those that serve and keep us safe.  I believe in God, and I tell my friends and family that I love them.  On those things, I do not and will not ever compromise.

In this ridiculously politically correct world we live in, everyone appears to have an agenda. Well, I don’t. I don’t care who you love or their gender, as long as you are happy.  I don’t care about your political leanings as long as they work for you.  Overall, I do care about me being happy, my family being happy, and my friends being happy.

Compromise is a part of life, but if you think I will compromise on my family, my beliefs, or my friends, you need to bring a sack lunch cause this is gonna take a while!
