Turn the Page



Have you gotten all you can from where you are right now? That’s a serious question.  Like the old joke about reaching the end of the internet, there are just times we reach the end.  I see life like chapters in a book. There is a beginning and an end.
When a chapter ends though, it can be damn scary, as we are faced with what is next.  There it is again, the unknown!  It's easy to fall back and try to relive certain chapters of your life, but you already know how they end. You have literally been there and done that. 

I like new chapters in my life, as I like learning and experiencing new things and people, but let me assure you that new chapters sometimes do scare the shit out of me. My insecurities kick in, and the mental phantoms (the what if game) have a nice little party in my head. Once I wrangle in the insecurities and quiet down those noisy voices, I can see the new chapter as a good thing, and I am able to turn the page.
