Where are Your Seats?

Where do you spend most of your time, in the bleachers or on the field?  Are you a spectator or a participator?  How often have you heard someone say, I’m waiting on my blessing, or I’m waiting on my break to appear, or I’m waiting for my boss to give me a promotion. To get the most out of life, we must take an active role and be participators.

Sure, there are times in life where we need to pause, get still, and watch for the results of our actions to appear; however, waiting should be the exception rather than the norm.  If you feel you are stagnant in a job, relationship, or whatever situation in your life, you could be spending too much time in the bleachers.  If you feel like you are on the go 150% and cannot see the fruits of your labor, you are probably spending too much time on the field.  Bleachers and the field are both important parts of life.  For me, finding the balance between the two is the fun part that keeps life interesting.  So, where are your seats?
