How meaningful would life be if everything we did was a straight line with a known beginning and end? Some of my best experiences were the curves along the way, and I do prefer the curves to the straight lines. It’s takes little effort to roll down the road in a straight line with the cruise control on. Straight lines can be some of the most dangerous times in life as we get complacent and lose focus on the journey. The road trip to a new place is full of unknowns, curves, or tangents, and that is what makes them the so exciting. Straight lines are boring. Look for the curves in life, and enjoy the ride.
