Turn the Page

Have you gotten all you can from where you are right now?  That is a serious question.  Like the joke about reaching the end of the internet, there are times we reach the end.  I see life like chapters of a book.  There is a beginning and end; however, when a chapter ends, we have to answer the what’s next question.  There it is again, the unknown!  It is easy to fall back and try to relive certain chapters, but you already know how they end.  

I like new chapters in my life, as I like learning and experiencing new things and people, but let me assure you, new chapters sometimes scare the shit out of me.  My insecurities kick in, and the mental phantoms (the what if game) have a nice little party in my head.  Once I wrangle in the insecurities and quiet down those noisy voices, I see the new chapter as a good thing, and I am able to turn the page.
