You know those times where you’re compelled to chime in on something only to wish you had kept your yap shut after the words left your mouth? One of the best examples is how quick a conversation or a post on social media about any given subject can go off in the ditch in a matter of seconds. Even funnier are the self-important celebrities that attempt to promote some agenda on awards shows only to issue retractions later. It’s our egos at work thinking our comments & opinions are THE most important and need to be heard by everyone. Folks, there are just times things are better left unsaid. When you feel the need to jump in, take a five second pause and think about the potential fallout out from piling on said subject. For me, one of the funnier things is thinking to myself, I’m glad I didn’t pipe up with the nonsense rolling around in my head at the time. That would lead to more useless babbling. That five second pause for self-thought can save you hours of nonsense. You can think it, but don’t do It!
