I am
fortunate to encounter many people each day.
Some encounters are planned, and others are random by simply saying hi
or smiling at a stranger. I never forget
I have great power just like every other person on this great planet. Each of us makes an impact on other people
all the time. It surprises me at the amount of people that do not believe in
their ability to change the world. They
have been beaten down by their past or their present to the point they do not
believe they have value to this world. I
realize I cannot save or fix everyone nor is it my place, but I can do
something. I am not always sure what
that something is, but I know there is something. I get and give something from everyone I
encounter by choice. I leave a mark on
them, and they leave a mark on me.
I
challenge you to write down today’s quote and place it on the nightstand, the
mirror in the bathroom, in your car, and on your desk. Get it down on the inside and ingrained in
your heart. Accept and embrace the great
power of leaving a mark. You can and do
make a difference in the world each and every day.
