A Few Simple Things
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. ” - Aesop
Today's TOD is primarily for the guys in the group; however, I would greatly appreciate any comments and feedback from the girls. In my 50 years of bouncing around the good Lord's earth, I've actually learned a thing or two. And yes more than how to drink a beer, ride a Harley, and shoot a gun. I think the things I'm most proud of are the things I've learned about boy/girl relationships over the last three years.

I've compiled Rod's Top 10 List – Smiles For The Girls
10. Open those car doors and front doors. It makes a difference.
9. Tell the woman in your life how you feel about them and tell them often. Never assume they know. Make SURE they know.
8. Give her cards for the fun of it. Being thought of, makes all the difference in the world.
7. Speak from and with your heart. It doesn't hurt, I promise.
6. Never stop courting the woman in your life. Have those date nights often.
5. Hug her for no apparent reason. Hugs are great for the sole and spirit.
4. Random Acts of Kindness are great. Wash the clothes or dishes or clean the house. She will notice.
3. Flowers grow on days other than birthdays, anniversaries, Valentines, or days you are in the dog house. Give her flowers for no particular reason, and watch the expression you see on her face. It is priceless.
2. Praise and compliment her often. This one is a biggy, guys. I've heard (and have said it myself in the past before I knew better) "well she will expect it if I do it a lot.". Well duh! She should expect it. She is the most important person in your life. If she is fishing for compliments, that is a sure fire sign she is not getting them. Either you give them or someone else will. Remember the list of Life's Priorities. Your spirituality is #1 and your spouse is #2. Everything else comes after that.

1. Pay attention, listen, and STAY CONNECTED!!!Action Item - Guys, print the list above, put it on your desk, in your car or on the mirror in the bathroom. Commit it to memory, take action, and I guarantee your relationship will change and grow for the better.

It looks like www.values.com has added some more of my goodies. They’ve published six of my original quotes. Guess they like them.
